The northwest corner of Östermalmstorg once housed the well known theater, Folkan. The building could not be saved and has been replaced by a modern new building with shops, offices and penthouses with a magnificent view over the city skyline. The glass façade with its unique print screen was awarded first prize in a collaborative competition. -
Hästskon (3)
The banking palace on Sergels Torg, one of Stockholm’s most central addresses, is a key component of Stockholm’s revitalization. A modern form together with enrichment of surrounding street environments as well as architecture and public space aims to maintain the building’s strong appeal and actively contribute to a lively city center. -
Liljeholmstorget (6)
Liljeholmen is an important hub in the public transportation system and is now expanding. Liljeholmstorget has received the look and feel of a city by creating and using unexpected areas and adding a mix of housing, workplaces, stores and services. The goal to create a leading shopping center within the sustainability area has been fulfilled as Liljeholmstorget is the first shopping center in Europe to receive the highest possible LEED certification, platinum. -
Klara Zenit - nominated for a Mipim Award 2003 (7)
A drab office building from the 1970´s has been converted to a visionary urban building with a diverse mix of shops, offices and housing. The unique townhouses on the roof, each with their own terrace, are today a natural part of Stockholm’s roofscape and a source for continuing international interest.
